RACHEL HAYES

BRAND STRATEGY, INTEGRATED MARKETING, EDITORIAL CONTENT

Hi. It’s nice to meet you and tell you a little bit about myself. For starters, I’ve loved every second of my career, because I’ve been able to do so many different things within the world of beauty, skincare, aesthetics, and wellness. From working for Fortune 500 powerhouses like The Estée Lauder Companies, Clinique, LVMH, Hearst, and Condé Nast, to leading small businesses and innovative startups like The Skin Center, Wholier, and Charlotte’s Book, my varied experience has shaped me into the dynamic, creative, strategic, and multi-skilled marketer that I am today. I wish I had a more direct title for clarity, but the truth is I don’t have one dream job, I have at least four.

First and foremost, I’m a Branding Expert—a role that allows me to delve deep into the essence of a brand, crafting narratives that resonate and growth strategies that endure. I also thrive as an Integrated Marketer, creating holistic omnichannel campaigns and weaving together a collective of voices and experiences to tell a brand’s full story and leave a lasting impact. At heart, I’m an Editorial Director and Content Strategist & Producer. My passion for storytelling has been consistent since the first chapter of my career as the Beauty Director of Cosmopolitan. Since then, my career evolution has always been rooted in crafting authentic stories.

  • “Rachel is the rare editorial person who can think like a business person or the rare business person who has a keen editorial mind...I can't decide which and that's probably what makes her so unique and so powerful given how these streams are converging these days. She is able to sit atop a team and navigate the path to a big picture creative vision while also mapping that vision back to real KPIs, deadlines, and business value-driven metrics. I'd recommend Rachel to anyone who needs true leadership behind that intersection of art and science.”
